GRAUPNER Hawk 12 HoTT receiver with 3-axis gyro and Vario (6-channel)
With the Hawk 12, Graupner presents a powerful 6-channel receiver with integrated 3-axis gyro and particularly vibration-resistant 3-axis accelerometer, diversity antennas, vario and attitude mode for area model or rescue mode and attitude mode for helicopters.
With the GRAUPNER HoTT 2.4GHz technology, the receiver has a safe hopping telemetry transmission radio frequency part with high-quality components and state-of-the-art software. The receiver transmits the parameters "receiver voltage", "receiver temperature", "signal strength", "height", "height difference (Vario)" to the transmitter without additional sensors. Furthermore, it is possible to transmit the Euler angles to the transmitter and display them there.
The antenna amplifier together with the antenna diversity ensures an enormous range. The faster 32-bit L4 processor is a guarantee for energy-saving work and the higher performance ensures that the Hawk 12 can also be used as a flybarless system for helicopters and as a flight controller for copters. Of course, the integrated Hawk gyro system can also be used perfectly for surface models. There are 4 different gyro modes here: OFF, normal stabilization, heading lock, yaw mode and attitude mode. The yaw rate mode makes it possible to perform a knife flight and torques without control corrections if set correctly. Extremely fast, easy and convenient to adjust via the Hott-Sender telemetry menu.
Just like its namesake, the Falcon, the Hawk 12 embodies determination, power and precision. Take the Hawk on the hunt for the perfect flight.
Surface models
- Stabilization of the model aircraft in difficult wind conditions for up to 3 axes
- Natural flight behaviour due to proportional gyro suppression
- Due to the 3-axis gyro, even difficult to control aerobatic models can be flown very good-naturedly and aerobatics are extremely simplified
- Flight figures can be flown much cleaner
- 4 different gyro modes: OFF, normal stabilization, heading lock, yaw rate mode for easy knife flight and torque, and attitude mode
- Easy setting of gyro assignment
- Setting the parameters via HoTT telemetry
- Attitude mode software enables easy landings even in difficult wind conditions
- 5 free mixers
- SUMD output for connection to flybarless systems, flight controllers or to a power box.
- SUMDIN input for redundant receiver operation.
Flybarless system for helicopters
- Rescue mode and attitude mode for helicopters
- Basic adjustment carried out in a few minutes via HoTT telemetry
- Fast and innovative axle assignment resulting in flexible installation direction
- Extremely space-saving due to size, weight and elimination of cables, making it easy to store
- Specially vibration-insensitive 3-axis sensors of the latest generation
- Pirouette optimization of the swashplate and direction of the tail torque compensation are automatically detected
- All common heli swashplates 90/120/135/140 degrees and 90 degrees 4 servos
- Adjustable swashplate rotation up to 90 degrees for multi-blade heads
- Clear standard and expert menu that can be selected if required
- Sensitivity parameters during flight can also be adjusted to speed and style depending on the flight phase via encoder
- Super-fast by eliminating the transmission time from the receiver to the flybarless system
- Very direct steering feel
Programming for Helicopters
- Simple programming of the basic settings via telemetry.
- The pirouette optimization is automatically determined from the parameters and works extremely well.
- Extreme flight stability with full 3D suitability at the same time even with the basic settings.
- Effect for the rear and swashplate can be easily adjusted via the telemetry menu or via selectable encoders.
- Further optimization options in expert mode for personal flight style and personal concerns.
- Extremely easy setting of the basic settings via telemetry:

Flight Control for Copters
- Copter software Q07 with Dshot controller protocol can be installed via software update
- Basic setting carried out in a few minutes via the telemetry menu
- Fast and innovative axle assignment resulting in flexible installation direction
- Specially vibration-insensitive 3-axis sensors of the latest generation
- The housing protects the electronics in the event of a crash. The special double-sided adhesive tape also dampens vibrations.
- 8kHz gyro frequency, multishot and fast PID control routines as well as new software filters ensure a perfect flight experience.
- D-Shot with turtle mode.
- Quadrotype XI (Quadcopter X with reverse prop rotation direction), which has proven itself especially in FPV races so that the lens remains free and the props rotate away from the obstacle.
- When connecting the GPS sensor S8437 to K5/telemetry and setting K5 to SENSOR, the following additional functions are available: GPS hold with altitude hold, come home and fly waypoints (with HoTT Viewer app and USB OTG cable).
- Telemetry support for your own Hott sensors and Hott sensors from other providers
- SUMD output for other flybarless receivers.
