With the engine attachment, the Lilienthal 40 RC becomes a full-fledged electric glider model. This means that the model can also be flown on the flat without a high-start device.

The engine attachment has been aerodynamically designed in such a way that gliding in the upwind is possible without any problems. The cable routing takes place inside the engine attachment, so that no cables hang freely and are neatly inserted into the fuselage of the model.

The kit consists of various wooden parts, a brushless motor and ESC specially assembled for this model and a folding propeller with spinner. A blade stop for the folding propeller is also included.

The motor attachment can be retrofitted to all Lilienthal 40 RC models and can be purchased individually. An additional advantage is that the engine attachment can also be universally attached to other aircraft models of this type and model class.

A 2S Lipo with 500mAh (not included) is suitable as a drive battery. A BEC connector for the drive battery is already soldered to the controller, so that the complete drive unit can be used without soldering. All cable lengths are already prefabricated to fit perfectly.
