The spinner series for aerodynamic top performance.
The Z-spinners combine the advantages of the CN spinners (Cool Nose with cooling air openings) and the offset Z-centerpieces. Due to the angled aluminium centrepieces, the folding propeller blades fit even closer to the fuselage and thus ensure less drag during gliding. The spinners with the middle pieces are designed for slender e-glider hulls, but can also bring advantages, e.g. to wooden hulls in box construction, if they are sanded round.
The middle pieces of the spinner sizes 32-42mm are interchangeable, so e.g. 38mm spinner caps can be operated with the middle piece of the 42mm spinner. These combination options result in further optimization potential, as they allow for a finer adjustment to the respective fuselage. The Spinner 30mm has its own riser, which cannot be combined with the other spinner caps.
The Z-spinner contains a spinner cap (diameter 55mm) made of white plastic (very easy to paint), milled aluminium centre piece with integrated holder for clamping cone, special prop rubber for folding the propeller blades, mounting screws for spinner cap and propeller blades.
The diameter of the spinner cap is 55 mm. The center distance (d) of this spinner is 52 mm. This means that the diameter of the propeller blades increases by 10 mm (0.39"). Example: A propeller with a diameter of 12" effectively has a diameter of 12.39" on this center piece (the size specifications for folding propellers always refer to the use of a center piece with center distance d=42 mm).

The spinner 55 mm fits very well on all flight models of the company Multiplex, which are equipped with a 55 mm spinner.
